Fri 28 March — Thu 3 April Gwe 28 Mawrth — Iau 3 Ebrill
Hong Kong/China/France/2007/111 mins/12A. Dir: Wong Kar Wai. With Norah Jones, Jude Law, David Strathairn.
The first English-language film from the director of Chung King Express and In the Mood for Love follows Elizabeth who, after a rough break-up, sets out on a journey across America in search of something to mend her broken heart. Waitressing her way through the country, she befriends others whose yearnings are greater than hers, including a troubled cop and his estranged wife, and a gambler with a score to settle. Through these individuals, Elizabeth witnesses the true depths of loneliness and emptiness, and begins to understand that her own journey is part of a greater exploration within herself.
