The return of a stunning production from Cardiff-based theatre company F.A.B. theatre. Blink is touring Wales for the second time, before crossing the pond for a run at the ‘Brits off Broadway’ festival in New York.
Blink is an edgy examination of the close-knit lives and lies of a small south Wales community, whose secrets start with the ‘rudey club’ and end up with ‘12 words that ruined a life’.
"…this is an impressive production, with coruscating writing building to a sustained howl of hurt and rage" - The Guardian
Ian Rowlands has written a fast paced drama about leaving and returning, about the prodigal son who comes back to Wales. Ian says "Blink tumbled out, almost fully formed, as if it had been seeking life for some time; a play that needed to be written, a statement I needed to make."
Blink is directed by Steve Fisher (Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Theatr Na Nog, Sgript Cymru) and features the significant acting talents of Lisa Palfrey (National Theatre, Royal Court Theatre), Rhian Blythe (Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru) and Sion Pritchard (Clwyd Theatre Cymru, Sgript Cymru).

"Enthralling drama, writing and performances marked by an intense fluidity and immensely focused energy. The first production from new Cardiff theatre company FAB is urgent, vital drama given a tender, vulnerable edge by the small cast… Rowlands is not afraid to throw humour into the darkest psychological nooks and crannies." **** — The Guardian
