Cardiff’s leading amateur theatre company follows The Women of Troy with one of the most influential plays of the twentieth century, here set in a war-torn Europe.
A willow tree foliates miraculously in one night and transforms a cross into weeping branches. Two tramps wait expectantly for the arrival of the mysterious Godot. "One of the thieves was saved" remembers Vladimir. "The very look of the Dead Sea made me thirsty", says Estragon.
With echoes of Laurel and Hardy and Chaplin, Samuel Beckett’s play continues to fascinate and provoke.
