Two children, La Niña and her endearing cousin Teo, use their boundless imagination to narrate this captivating and colourful story of the children of Venezuelan political revolutionaries in the 1960s. La Niña receives postcards from Leningrad, which are her only hope that one day she will be reunited with her mother. The children’s concern for their parents’ safety inspires their imaginary ‘Invisible Man’: his mission, to bring their loved ones out of harm’s way.
