As part of Le Salon, our off–site programme by Hassan Hajjaj, we are delighted to continue our exploration of the ‘style of the souk’.

The series of eight large–scale graphic canvases that will be exhibited on the Caffi Bar walls are inspired by the vibrant packaging and typography used in North African and Middle Eastern commerce. They will be accompanied by a series of exquisite Moroccan–style lamps made from tin food cans that have been beaten flat, giving the Caffi Bar a contemporary Moroccan twist.

Children’s Art Packs

As part of our Assembly programme we produce children’s packs relating to the exhibition, which we hope will encourage children to look at and think about art. For each exhibition, we invite children to make a creative response: either a drawing, or a story or poem inspired by one of the works. The winning entry is published on the website and the winner receives a prize selected from The Shop to coincide with each exhibition. Click here to see the previous winning entry.
