A UK premiere performance from one of Canada’s brightest new choreographers. Amber Funk Barton has quickly emerged as an artist creating impressively bold and distinctive performances with character and precision. Thrice is an evening of three solo works: Movement in Red and Black, Risk (a new work created for Chapter) and Without Words created for Amber by the acclaimed Vancouver based choreographer Wen Wei Wang.

Inspired by the vulnerabilities of the human spirit and everyday emotions, Amber Funk Barton’s work as a dancer and choreographer has a presence and intellect that questions and defines itself through dance, whilst leading it well into the future.
