"delicious food" – The Guardian (March 2007)
Here at Chapter Café, we’re committed to doing all we can to look after our world and the people in it. All our coffee, tea, hot chocolate and sugar are Fair Trade, ensuring that the producers are paid a fair price. We also now serve Fair Trade organic apple and orange juice and soya milk from Alpro, who have a strong commitment to sustainable development. We support local businesses where possible, sourcing the highest quality ingredients from as close by as we can, keeping our food miles to a minimum. We recycle as much of our waste as possible and all our cleaning is now carried out using ecologically friendly products from Ecolab, so you don’t need to worry about nasty chemicals going anywhere near your food our down our drains. For more information, just talk to any of our friendly café staff.
"On top of delicious food the service from the café’s staff is efficient and friendly" – Pete Fowler
Chapter Café is joining the Fairtrade revolution! All our hot drinks are now Fairtrade, so you can sup your cappuccino or savour a tasty hot chocolate in the knowledge that the growers of the beans have been paid fairly for their wares.
We pride ourselves in using the best locally sourced, organic ingredients wherever possible to make sure we serve you the best quality food and keep those all-important food miles to a minimum. All of our fresh pasta comes from Wales’ own The Fresh Pasta Company, who also supply their wares via Fortnum and Mason and London’s gourmet foodie haven Borough Market.
Healthy, flavoursome and convenient – who could ask for more?
