Pen-blwydd Poenus Pete

A sparkling and biting comedy with an outrageous look at family life by the acclaimed playwright Gary Owen.

There’s a family - Mum, Dad, two children and Cadi the cat. Dad says he doesn’t want any fuss at all made for his birthday. So Mum takes him at
his word: she and the kids don’t do ANYTHING for Dad’s birthday.

But, Dad is furious about no one doing anything for his birthday. And when Dad’s frustrations combine with the Cat’s mischievous power, chaos comes to a family gathering.

Award winning Theatr Iolo (Winner of Best Play for Children and Young people: Theatre Critics Wales Award 2013) is delighted to present this brand new show for families and schools in the Welsh Language.
