The next Chapter | y bennod nesaf

Chapter’s Redevelopment Project
For over 35 years Chapter has played as huge part in many people’s lives, offering a welcoming environment, a diverse and challenging arts programme, great food and beer and a range of classes and workshops.
It is now time for our building to change…..to update the facilities whilst retaining all that is great about Chapter. The entrance, concourse and café bar will be improved, a new theatre foyer built, and the cinemas and theatre will be refurbished.
Chapter’s redevelopment project, designed by architects Ash Sakula, will ensure that we can continue to offer a great art programme and community activities for many years to come. The redevelopment will offer:
- Visible, welcoming and accessible entrances
- Refurbished cinemas, new theatre foyer and new theatre seating
- Improved gallery and gallery shop
- Larger, inviting public concourse and café bar
- New and improved spaces for hire for workshops and events
For more information and artists’ impressions of the new Chapter please download the pdf of the Redevelopment brochure in English (click here) or Welsh (click here). You can also get all the latest news here or check out our redevelopment blog for the latest updates and photos of the work in progress.
