Following Three Essays + Exchange, we are pleased to host a new online publication, In Time, published by Live Art UK, a network of venues and organisations (of which Chapter is a founding member) dedicated to promoting the development of live art across the UK. In Time presents a series of arguments and case studies which offer a vivid and detailed survey of the contemporary live art scene, from programming to professional development, that can be useful and provocative reading for those studying and interested in this often highly-charged area of contemporary arts practice.

The book follows a series of performances, including "An End to Isolation Training Seminar – Level 1" and the musical adventure "An End to Isolation II" produced at Chapter since 2005.

Davida Hewlett is an artist whose work is made up of various combinations of video, performance, text, music and installation featuring low-tech inventions and actions that can be uncomfortable and absurd. Her work has been seen at theatres, clubs, festivals and art galleries across the UK and internationally.
