Community Garden Learning
Chapter Community Garden
There are lots of opportunities to join us in the garden or help out with our bees with weekly drop-in sessions and regular events. If you love watering and weeding you’ll find a special place in our hearts.
We also work with many local schools and groups who come along to get their hands dirty (we’ll got a great supply of children’s gardening tools) or find our about the bees (we’ve got children’s bee suits too).
We regularly work with artists to animate the space including theatre groups like Nutshell (www.nutshelltheatre.co.uk) who performed their award-winning show Allotment in the garden and illustrator Debbie Devauden who worked with local primary schools developing illustrations for a set of recipe cards.
Chapter Community Garden is made with love with the vision and inspiration of a dedicated set of volunteers, Canton Community Gardens. You’ll find lots of information on the garden at their website www.cantoncommunitygardens.co.uk or their facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Canton-Community-Gardens/170105233001065
