Beth Greenhalgh: Experiment in Terror - There is Something in the walls other than pipe, brick and wire
A durational piece (approx. 4hrs) taking place in a set built into a room. As a performer the work will take place behind the scene/installation. The set is on wheels. Walls move, turn to transform space into other spaces. Layers of space are unfolded through a mirror curtain that opens onto ladies inflating and deflating. They stain things, they dance and vibrate, they sing and scream. It becomes a séance. Beneath the floor hands rise and operate pumps that initiate liquids and powders. There is something in the walls other than pipe, brick and wire.
