DEAF TOGETHER is a Deaf-led gathering that’s open to everyone! Part of Hear We Are, a two-year Deaf-led project with Jonny Cotsen, we’ve been working with partners to centre the creative voices of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people across the country. DEAF TOGETHER brings you three days of events, activity and performance at Chapter, Cardiff. We hope you’ll be able to come along and participate in everything from yoga to comedy, dialogues to Deaf Rave!
This event is by and for Deaf people, but hearing people are also warmly welcomed. Our programme is supported by BSL, live captions and simultaneous translation from BSL to English. The interpreters are Claire Anderson, Louise Beck, Jacob Bevan, Julie Doyle, Sami Dunn, Tony Evans and Cathryn McShane and Communication Support Workers are Adrian Blake, Angela Tiziana Tarantini and Andrew Webeloved.
Hear We Are is a Jonny Cotsen project in partnership with Chapter. We’re grateful for the support of our partners Disability Arts Cymru, CRT Consultant and Training, Centre of Sign Sight Sound, Deaf Hub Wales, Tŷ Pawb, Artis Community, Taliesin Arts Centre, Pontypridd Deaf Club and Sign and Share Club. Funded by Arts Council Wales through Connect + Flourish.

Some of our events are Pay What You Can. Please choose a ticket price according to what you can afford. Payments go directly to supporting our charity so that we can work with artists and our community to bring you more performances, exhibitions, events, and activities like this in the future as well as ensure we make Deaf Together as inclusive and accessible as we can. There are no priority seats - our spaces have unallocated seating so you'll have the same experience regardless of what you pay. Just turn up and choose your preferred seats.
