Motherlode Theatre Presents

By Rachael Boulton

South Wales. The night the last factory closed.

Four neighbours build a plane in an allotment and take off down the high street, past the butchers, past the curry house, and above the chapel in search of a life free from politics and the grind.

Blisteringly funny, this heartwarming drama accompanied by live original score and tantalising visuals is a new adventure from the valleys that makes anything seem possible.

  • Co produced with RCT Theatres.
  • In association with Creu Cymru.
  • Supported by Arts Council Wales, Bristol Old Vic & Chapter.

Duration: 1hr20 (no interval)

Age 12+ Contains flashing lights and some swearing

Every performance will be captioned

"Comic and celebratory, melodic and mournful, it's an elegy for a place that's not dead yet!"
