August highlights

We have some fun and exciting treats for you this summer holiday!

For young people aged 16-24 years old, as part of BFI Film Academy, we're proud to present a pan-Wales series of venue-based film education activity. Events will take place at Memo Arts Centre, Pontardawe Arts Centre and Torch Theatre.

We can't wait for NDCWales Open Air Performances to arrive in our rear car park next weekend. Friday performances are sold out and there's just a few tickets available for Saturday, so snap them up quick! You're also invited to attend a free dance workshop led by NDCWales (for ages 12+).

Our Summer of Music continues with The Sparks Brothers, a tour through the weird and wonderful world of Ron and Russell Mael, WITCH, a documentary that follows Zambia's most popular rock band of the 1970s & David Byrne's American Utopia.

This month is your last chance to experience Artes Mundi 9. Find out about the exhibitions by Dineo Seshee Bopape and Carrie Mae Weems, or join the Artes Mundi team for a Creative Time for Families workshop.

Other treats include the return of our wonderful Sunday Jazz evenings and films to enjoy from home, Jumbo and The Garden Left Behind.
