Due to COVID-19, our building is temporarily closed until further notice. We’ll be monitoring updates from Welsh Government and will keep you posted on our plans via our newsletters, website and social media. We look forward to the time when we can welcome you back. Until then, we’re offering our programme online, so keep an eye on What's On. With your support, we can continue to operate and secure our future. Thank you.

#GivingTuesdayNow Posted on 05 May 2020

Today is #GivingTuesdayNow

#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of unity in response to Coronavirus. A day where we can all come together to recognise, celebrate and give thanks for the incredible outpouring of compassion that's been witnessed during this crisis.

We'd like to take this opportunity to share with you an exciting comedy gig that's raising money for good local causes across Cardiff (including ourselves!), and to thank our supporters for all of your help with the Save Chapter campaign.

Belly Laughs Cardiff: A night of Cardiff-based comedy for good local causes

On Friday 15 May at 7:30pm, Robin Morgan will be bringing the Cardiff leg of Belly Laughs back to life for one special night of lockdown entertainment.

With contributions from some of his comedian friends and familiar Cardiff faces (keep a look out for some exciting acts tbc) he'll be celebrating our glorious city in a live streamed one-off gig whilst raising money for four local charities: Chapter, Llamau, Fareshare and Dragon Heart Hospital.

Want to get involved? Belly Laughs Cardiff are looking for contributions from a mixture of people (famous and regular) to send in short clips (1-2mins) of what they love about Cardiff; it can be a poem or a story, anything at all!  If you’d like to get involved, you can upload a clip here

Thank you for your support

We'd like to say a big thank you to all of our supporters - to those of you who have donated or sent kind messages and to those of you who have raised awareness of our fundraising campaign, you've all made a huge difference and we are truly grateful.

Donations made to our Save Chapter fund will support us through this difficult time, help us to re-open & enable us to plan programme activity in time for our 50th Birthday in 2021. We have been overwhelmed by the support we've already received, but we still have a long way to go.
