Raising awareness of stammering through contemporary theatre

Award-winning and critically acclaimed, one-man show – Just A Few Words - comes to Chapter

StammerMouth is the alias of award-winning theatre maker Nye Russell- Thompson, forging a ‘brand new’ artistic continuum of stark minimalism and truly terrible opportunistic puns to raise awareness of speech impediments and associated mental health issues.

Having toured such notable venues as Lyric Theatre Belfast and Southbank Centre London, StammerMouth works with British Council, Unlimited and the British Stammering Association, pushing for stammering to be recognised as a disability.

A darkly comic grapple with the awkward task of expression, inviting you into the mind of a person who stammers.

Partnered with Unlimited, the British Stammering Association and the University of Chichester.

Just A Few Words is at Chapter on Friday 06 & Saturday 07 September, both performances are BSL Interpreted. Book your tickets
