Off the Page: Marie Toseland and Rhiannon Lowe
Off the Page is a space for experimental works or works in progress that straddle the boundaries of art and language. We invite artists, who work with speaking, text, or writing to use this space to try out new ideas. The events are intentionally loose, low-fi and friendly.
This time, we have invited Marie Toseland, an artist and writer based in London, and Rhiannon Lowe, an artist, curator and publisher based in Cardiff. Marie’s varied works use a broad set of references including rap battles, Nouveau Roman literature and the plays of Luigi Pirandello. Rhiannon Lowe's recent exhibitions include 'John Cale Made Me a Woman', Arcadecardiff in 2016 and The Back Wall, Oriel Myrddin in 2017.
Off the Page is curated by Sam Hasler, an artist based in Cardiff who works with text and performance.
