Cerys Furlong - Trustee

Cerys is Director of NIACE Cymru, a charity that promotes opportunities for adults to learn and work. Cerys previous worked for the Open University as Assistant Director (External Strategy) and has over ten years experience in the post-16 education and skills sector. Cerys previously served as a County Councillor for 6 years, and has worked for a number of senior politicians in Wales. Cerys is a Trustee of the Bevan Foundation, a think tank that works to promote social justice.

With her husband and business partners, Cerys has opened The Lansdowne pub, The Potted Pig and Porro restaurants in recent years, and has a healthy interest in all things food and drink.
