Everyman Theatre Company, founded in 1942, is one of South Wales's leading amateur theatrecompanies. They have established a reputation for their Summer Festival of plays previously performed at the Museum of Welsh Life and that now take place at Sophia Gardens. They have a mixed repertoire from classics, to fringe theatre, to large-scale productions. They meet every week in their Club Room in Chapter.
