Queerama (15)

UK/2017/70mins/15 Dir: Daisy Asquith

Mining the jewels of the BFI archive, Queerama tells the story of an extraordinary century of gay experiences set to a gem of a soundtrack by John Grant and Goldfrapp. Directed by Daisy Asquith and produced by homegrown Welsh ie ie productions, the film takes us into the relationships, desires, fears and expressions of gay men and women in the 20th century – a century of incredible change.

Join us for a Q&A after the screening with the Director, Daisy Asquith and Producer Catryn Ramasut

"Raiding the archives to piece together a century of gay experiences, Daisy Asquith’s labour of love Queerama is both a heartening celebration of progress and a cautionary reminder of all the broken lives and lonely hearts trampled along the way"
