Volunteer

If you’ve ever visited Chapter and been greeted by someone on the door of the cinema or the theatre, it’s most likely to be one of our fabulous volunteer ushers. 

We currently have over 100 members of the community from all walks of life making up this team, and they help us to run smoothly every day. There’s no denying we’d be lost without them. 

Looking to volunteer? 

Once you’re fully trained in some health and safety procedures, we ask that you sign up for a minimum of two shifts a month. You’re required to join the audience for the duration of the event to monitor for any disturbances or issues, but other than that just enjoy the film or live performance. 

There are also plenty of incentives, including 10% off in the caffi bar, two free cinema tickets a month and the chance to earn Tempo Time Credits to use in and outside of Chapter.
