SELIGMAN THEATRE and STIWDIO SELIGMAN
Both of our theatre spaces are used primarily for Chapter productions, rehearsals and R&D but can also occasionally be hired by external companies or individuals, subject to suitability and availability.
The Seligman Theatre is situated on the first floor of the main Chapter building. It can hold between 70-120 audience seated or standing. Our Stiwdio Seligman is a large, theatre-equipped space, which can seat between 60-80 and has a standing capacity of 100. This space is situated in a separate building, a stones throw from the front of Chapter. Both theatres are "black box" style spaces and can be configured in various ways.
To enquire about using one of Chapter’s theatre spaces please contact the Performance Programme and Learning Manager Alice Burrows at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that the programming of Chapter's theatre spaces is not based solely on availability. Many considerations are made based on artistic quality, suitability for Chapter's audiences, fit with other performances or events in the building and technical/physical capacity. Hire costs are designed to be flexible based upon space availability, length of hire, relationship with the hirer and technical/staffing requirements. We aim to make the hire fee affordable while covering essential costs.
