Important update – COVID passes in our cinemas and theatres from 15 November
In line with Welsh Government legislation, if you’re aged 18+ and coming to see a film or performance from 15 November, you’ll need to have an up-to-date NHS COVID Pass indicating that you’ve been fully vaccinated or have had a recent negative lateral flow test (within 48 hours).
COVID Passes and test results will be checked at point of entry to our cinemas, theatres and any of our spaces where a performance is taking place. We will accept the following:
Please make sure you arrive in plenty of time before an event.
If you’ve already booked a ticket for an event happening on or after 15 November, you can request a refund if you're unable to comply with the legislation. From 15 November, if you book to come and see a performance or film, please make sure you have a COVID Pass before attending otherwise you'll be refused entry and you won't get a refund.
For the further information, please visit Welsh Government’s website and our FAQs. If you have a question that isn't answered, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Updated 21 October 2021
We've made a few changes to ensure your visit with us is even more enjoyable and easy!
You’re no longer required to check in at our reception and we don't need to take your details so you can move freely in the building. We ask you to be mindful of access and safety so please don’t congregate in our corridors or gather in groups. Unless you’re exempt, you are still required to wear a mask when moving around our building, in the toilets, in our film screenings, exhibitions and theatre performances.
If you’re visiting our café bar, there’s no need to book in advance. When you arrive, make your way in and find an available table. You can then order in two ways: follow the simple instructions on your table using the QR code or, order at the café bar counter. Please note that if you’re ordering at the counter, you’ll be asked for a table number so make sure you’ve found a place to sit first. Whichever way you choose to order, a member of our team will bring your food and drink to the table.
If you’ve booked a ticket online, you can make your way straight to the cinema where you can scan your QR code at the entrance. From 29 October, we’re returning to unreserved seating. This means you’ll no longer have an allocated seat number so you can choose where to sit. For your comfort and safety, we’re selling at a reduced capacity so you can continue to observe social distancing if you prefer, although this isn’t always guaranteed. You are no longer required to book in ‘bubbles’. You must wear a face mask during the film screening. We ask you to be mindful of others and those who may be more vulnerable than you.

The gallery is free to attend and no booking is required. For your comfort and safety, we’ll continue to restrict visitor numbers to 10 at any one time and you must wear a mask whilst moving around the space. If you’d like to see our exhibition, please make your way straight to the gallery entrance where a member of our team will be happy to welcome you.
If you’ve hired a room with us, you’ll still need to register at our information desk so that our staff can issue you with a key.
Whilst some of our restrictions have been lifted, we want you to know that your safety and comfort continues to be a priority. Our teams are still following an enhanced cleaning regime, there’s plenty of hand sanitiser throughout the building and we all continue to wear masks to keep you as safe as possible.
Thank you for working with us to ensure that we can protect the many vulnerable people who use our building every day, and to keep our staff safe so that we can continue to bring you the best in art, film, performance, food and drink.
