Create your own miniature world in this mixed media workshop with Emmy- and three times BAFTA-nominated director Osbert Parker.
Osbert Parker uses innovative mixed media techniques to create one-of-a-kind imaginary landscapes in his award winning short films, commercials, TV programmes and online content. With over 30 years experience in the creative arts industries, Osbert balances his animation work with delivering masterclasses, seminars & running international animation workshops in Europe, South America and the UK, and is a visiting animation lecturer at (NFTS) The National Film & Television School.
Osbert will guide you in creating your own tiny dioramas in 'Pocket Size Imax' slide viewers, using a collage of transparent cut-outs and found miniature objects.
The tiny worlds created through the workshop will be exhibited at Chapter and Umbrella Gallery.
Please let us know any access provision that would make it easier for you to attend the workshop, such as BSL interpretation.
Join us and other festivalgoers before the workshop for a buffet lunch in Chapter’s Caffi/Bar 1-2pm.
