About the artists
Bragod's extraordinary tonal world reveals the very roots of music. Using original instruments and sources this unique duo explores Welsh medieval, ceremonial music and poetry with experimentation and imagination. Robert Evans plays the European lyre and its descendant the crwth. Mary-Anne Roberts sings audaciously while dancing the binary patterns of this mystical music: the universe made audible. They give acoustic recitals internationally, play ritual music for their local community and have answered commissions to set modern poems.
Amruta Garud is a highly skilled Indian Classical vocalist, composer, entrepreneur, and author. With more than ten years of leading Ayan Cymru, she has delivered exceptional musical services globally. Her dedication to sharing her expertise is evident in her seamless facilitation of music workshops, well-being sessions, and powerful performances.
