Carry on Screaming: Superman (2025)

Our Carry on Screaming films are every Friday morning. They allow parents or carers with a child under one to see a film without having to worry about causing a disturbance, and with adjustments to the cinema environment to make it as convenient and comfortable as possible. It’s free entry for babies, but please be aware: no baby, no entry.

Journalist, Clark Kent starts work on the Daily Planet in the buzzing city of Metropolis where he meets famous investigative reporter Lois Lane. He seems like an ordinary, shy young man from Smallville, but he is hiding a secret – he is really Kal-El from the planet Krypton, saving the lives of citizens as the heroic Superman. Lois is hot on the case that might reveal his identity, but so is arms dealer Lex Luthor, who has political ambitions that come into conflict with Clark’s beliefs in truth and justice. A sumptuous re-imagining of the most classic of the superhero tales, brought to the screen with spark by Guardians of the Galaxy and ex-Troma Studios filmmaker James Gunn.
