Action in Caerau and Ely invite you to their ‘Creating SpACE’ exhibition.
The show brings together work produced over the past six months here at Chapter and at The Dusty Forge in Ely, during their ‘Arts, Health and Wellbeing’ project.
Using drawing to music, paper sculpture, sketch books and clay, and with guidance from a collective of creative practitioners, participants have explored themes of nature, colour and self. The resulting work is the individual and collective interpretation of their own creative, safe space.
'Creating SpACE' is a creative arts and health research and partnership development project, funded by Arts Council Wales and hosted by ACE – Action in Caerau & Ely. Supported by Chapter and in partnership with Disability Arts Cymru, YourSpACE and the' Fullness Project'.
Peilot is on the SWAS corridor on the first floor and is accessible via stairs or lift. The room has step-free access. Please ask at our Information Desk for directions.

Lino-cut with Chine-collé
Chine Collé is a technique that combines collage with printmaking. Coloured papers cut to match elements of the image are prepared with glue and laid upon the inked block along with a backing paper before printing in the press. Effectively printing and sticking at the same time.
