After being a peddler, street photographer, radio announcer, policeman, and mechanic, Jacinto decides to become a film projectionist aspiring to bring cinema experiences to the people of Venezuela.
To get away from the big city, he transforms a truck into a travelling cinema shaped like a whale. Manuel, a brave eleven-year-old orphan offers his help and becomes part of Jacinto’s trip. Juliet, a mysterious French woman also looking for adventure, joins them in this cinematic journey to the end of the world.
This tender Venezuelan classic is a celebration of unconventional family and the power of cinema in challenging circumstances.
