A nine-year-old boy finds he must chart a path through to adulthood in a world that has suddenly turned upside down. His stable and loving community in 1960s Northern Ireland is changed forever but joy, laughter, music and the formative magic of the movies remain. Kenneth Branagh flips through his family photo album, giving us glimpses of his loved ones in gloriously nostalgic black and white in this sweet and engaging tale.
