CAF: Clwstwr, RIFA and CAF present: Animation and the Climate Emergency

Mon 1 January 0001 - Fri 8 April 2022

Clwstwr and Cardiff Animation Festival are joining forces with the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s (AHRC) Research in Film Awards (RIFA) for an afternoon of screenings, talks, and networking on environmental sustainability in the media industry.

The sessions are an opportunity to be inspired by content and films which are already raising awareness and advocating for change, as well as participate in discussions about ways in which the climate emergency can be communicated to different audiences using animation.

From animators to content commissioners, academic researchers to production researchers – we'd love to welcome you along for an afternoon of changemaking thinking.

Event schedule

  • 1-2pm Networking lunch
  • 2-3:15pm Screenings and Q&As
  • 3:15-3:45pm Coffee
  • 3.45-5pm: Planet placement and communicating the climate emergency
