The Beekeeper

A beekeeper on the island of Anglesey faces losing her ancestral home to the development of a nuclear power plant.

Between the Lines: Liz at Large

Liz Montague first emailed The New Yorker’s cartoon editor out of frustration that all of the illustrations featured white subjects. She began contributing to the magazine in 2019 and became the first Black, female cartoonist in The New Yorker’s near century run.

Forty Horsepower

A dreamy documentary short following the summer fun of a group of children from Chioggia, their dreams and expectations for the future. Stefanin is a 16 year old handyman who repairs engines, goes clam fishing and sails around with his friends on small boats with 40 horsepower engines, playing loud reggae music and hoping to woo girls at the lagoon.

Bronglais FM is a hospital radio station located in a small hut behind the main hospital building. Bobby, one of its presenters, invites guests into the studio during his broadcasts to discuss a range of existential topics.

White Angels of Camargue – Europe’s Last Cowboys
