Philandering writer Léonard is conducting an affair with the wife of his publisher Selena. Meanwhile, his wife Valérie gets on with her career. A buoyant, witty tale from director-in-his-prime Assayas (Irma Vep, The Clouds of Sils Maria, Personal Shopper) who takes the cliché of French bourgeois life and enriches it with keen observations on the tensions between art, commerce and technology.
