Sun 10 & Tue 12 November
Charity Hope Valentine works in a rundown dance hall and always tries to stay positive despite having to contend with a seemingly endless run of bad dates. When she gets stuck in an elevator with the reserved Oscar, it seems she might have finally met her match. Featuring an all-star cast, including a charming and funny Shirley MacLaine, songs such as Big Spender and a script by Fellini, this Fosse / Verdon collaboration is pure 1960s Hollywood.
