These two charming films - The Lost World, an adaptation of the Arthur Conan Doyle classic; and The Second Shot Kills, a Bond-style pastiche - were made for pocket-money with a cast pulled from school friends in the summer holidays. This is a rare chance to take a peek at pre-digital filmmaking n Wales, true DIY filmmaking by then-teenagers in 1970s Newport on Super 8, now lovingly digitised by the original team.
