Wolfwalkers (PG)

Fri 27 November - Sun 29 November & Wed 2 December

Robyn and her hunter father arrive in Kilkenny as part of Oliver Cromwell’s occupying forces, to tame the wild country by ridding it of its wolves. Whilst on a hunt, Robyn comes across Meabh, a young wolfwalker – a girl who changes into a wolf when she sleeps – whose mother has been captured by the Lord Protector. A tale that explores friendship and acceptance, Cartoon Saloon (Song of the Sea, The Secret of Kells) have conjured another visually stunning animation that mixes the real and magical folklore of Irish identity.
