Lee Miller finds herself in the 1930s approaching middle age, defiantly establishing herself as a photographer when many have dismissed her as nothing more than a model and muse of Great Men. War is approaching, fascists are on the march and Miller is determined to find a way to show the world the unbridled truths of humanity.
A timely debut feature from award-winning cinematographer Ella Kuras with an incredibly powerful performance from Kate Winslet, this film takes us behind the iconic images she created that display both the fragility and ferocity of the human experience as well as the public and private world that she found so difficult to balance.
