An immersive and revelatory look at the 18 months artist Yoko Ono and her musician husband John Lennon spent living in Greenwich Village in the early 1970s. Freshly out of The Beatles and throwing himself into the art life of New York, Lennon saw this time as a rebirth of his creative life with his new, sensational partner. This documentary captures this turbulent time of politics and in the lives of the couple as well as newly restored footage of Lennon’s only full-length post-Beatles concert. An insightful and electrifying film with audio overseen by their son Sean Ono Lennon.
