Tue 24 - Thu 26 September
A stripped back and edgy contemporary dance work, performed and watched around a revolving set, six bodies push against each other in a constant flow of transformation.
Their never-ending effort is put into every continuous and minute moment. It is all for the greater good, and the common goal. Every moment counts, and everyone’s effort matters.
These unique international choreographers and performers (including Eddie Ladd) were brought together to find a new way to collaborate. The turbulent politics of their homelands lit a touch-paper of exchange between them, creating a physical microcosm of collaboration and negotiation needed for these divisive times.
Produced in the UK by Gwyn Emberton Dance, iCoDaCo (International Contemporary Dance Collective) is a biennial intercultural project, bringing dance artists and producers from across the globe to collaborate and make contemporary dance. This edition is supported by the Creative Europe programme for the EU, Arts Council of Wales and the Swedish Arts Council.
