Join National Dance Company Wales outside to rediscover the joy of live dance from a powerhouse of Wales based artists.
‘Why Are People Clapping!?’ by Ed Myhill is uplifting, funny and ridiculously clever. It’s set to composer Steve Reich’s ‘Clapping Music’ and uses rhythm as a driving force. The dancers clap, stamp and jump to create the live soundtrack. It’s face-pulling, toe-tapping, joy.
‘Moving is everywhere, forever’ by Faye Tan. A satisfying ode to the act of dancing; an invitation to yield to the irresistible impulse of grooving, to the soundtrack by Welsh electronic duo Larch.
Nestled amongst the two performances will be some fun moments to get dancing and learn moves from the show!
Duration: 45 minutes
Choreography by Ed Myhill & Faye Tan
Music by Steve Reich & Larch
BSL Interpretation provided by Claire Anderson (7 August)
Performances will take place outside in Chapter's rear car park.
