UPROAR: Professor Bad Trip

Mon 1 January 0001 - Fri 28 February 2020
Seligman Theatre

UPROAR's 2020 programme is dedicated to electro-acoustic composition.

Three new home-grown commissions sit alongside three celebrated international works by pioneering electro-acoustic composers who specialise in the use of electronics to sculpt and manipulate the sound of traditional instruments to create new sonic experiences.

Performed by UPROAR’s specialist new music players, this is an evening of virtuosic work for anyone interested in the frontiers of classical music and electronic sound.

Bethan Morgan-Williams - New commission

Andrew Lewis - New commission

Tristan Murail - Winter Fragments

Fausto Romitelli - Professor Bad Trip: Lesson III

UPROAR is the new music ensemble of Wales. Launched in 2018, its exemplary performers under the direction of Michael Rafferty bring to Wales and the UK the best international classical music written today.
