UNDERCOVER is a new, large-scale work from Striking Attitudes. A promenade performance, exhibition and dynamic multimedia presentation of dance, theatre, photography, poetry, video, music and textiles.
Promenade walk-through performance taking place in First Space/ Peilot/ Stiwdio.
UNDERCOVER is a chronicle of our times ¬– a response to the pandemic and climate change, a giant tapestry of stories in Welsh and English. Inspired by the Welsh blanket, the show explores how the ‘known’ has become ‘unknown’, the ‘normal’ now ‘abnormal’. An exploration of how precarious life can be and how the world can turn on its head.
Featuring an incredible line-up of creative practitioners from across Wales including Michal Iwanowski, Iestyn Tyne, Llio James, Dan Swain, Becky Davies and Marega Palser, UNDERCOVER is led by Artistic Director, Caroline Lamb, with Janet Fieldsend, Aleksandra Nikolajev Jones, June Campbell Davies, Geraldine Hurl and Dawns i Bawb.
UNDERCOVER is supported by Arts Council Wales, Chapter and Dawns i Bawb.
