SAFAR 2025: Sudan, Remember Us

We meet a set of politically active and artistically creative people in their twenties, fighting for freedom with their words, poems and chants. They are countered by a formidable, corrupted army and a paramilitary responsible for war crimes in Darfur, Kordofan and Blue Nile. Guided by the dream of liberation and equipped with the power of imagination and the might of poetic discourse, they fight on. This is the collective portrait of a generation, relating the uneven struggle that pitted the voices of the revolution against the fire of the militia.
