Musician Herb McGwyer arrives on the windswept Wallis Island expecting to play an intimate gig, not realising that he is playing only for Charles, an eccentric millionaire who lives alone. Charles’ favourite band is McGwyer Mortimer, Herb’s former folk duo with ex-girlfriend Nell Mortimer, who he has also invited without Herb’s knowledge. Old tensions resurface as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig. A sweet, gentle comedy about friendship and moving on from loss.
