Told across one day with unbearable clarity, we explore the raw feelings of teenager Una as she lives through the immediate aftermath of the death of her boyfriend and how his passing hits the community in Reykjavík. Una and Diddi’s relationship had shifted from close friendship into romance, too quickly for word to reach Diddi’s long-distance girlfriend Klara, who comes to town in the wake of his passing.
