Films at Chapter 1 – 7 May

This week, our screens are full of worlds that twist, loop and pull you out of the ordinary.

From the claustrophobic maze of Exit 8 to the time bending mystery of The Rose of Nevada, these films play with what happens when you can’t quite escape.

Elsewhere, the focus shifts to connection, imagination and discovery. Primavera finds beauty in music and mentorship, Glenrothan brings estranged brothers back under one roof, and The Magic Faraway Tree opens the door to fantastical new worlds.

Persona, curated in collaboration with artist Imogen Stidworthy to accompany her exhibition In a thread of air, dives deep into identity and the space between two lives.
