Therapy at The Derw

Sarah Williams and Jane Moore have worked together since 2009 and are both highly skilled clinicians with a breadth of mental health experience. They offer online and face-to-face art psychotherapy and counselling for all ages from their beautiful therapeutic space.

Sarah Williams is a HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist. She qualified at Queen Margaret’s University in Edinburgh in 2008. Sarah’s approach is integrative, grounded in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy she might bring in elements from other therapies such as Compassion Focused Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, Vagal Therapy and Gestalt Therapy. Sarah is the co-founder of Creative Therapies Collective (CTC), which is a is voluntary community group whose aim is to facilitate the promotion and practice of the Arts Therapies in South Wales.

Jane Moore is a graduate of the University of Glamorgan, The Family Institute, holding a BSc Honours Degree in Counselling.  She began her counselling journey in 2002.  Jane is a warm, caring, compassionate and understanding person and counsellor.  Her core approach is Person Centred but integrating where it fits the person and their journey, with other models, such as CBT or Psychodynamic thinking. 

Sarah and Jane always strive to work professionally, mindfully, and sensitively with each and every person they meet. They have created a truly unique and beautiful therapeutic space, suitable for all ages at Therapy at The Derw. Both face-to-face and online sessions are available.
