Chapter’s December Highlights

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Chapter!

We have a dazzling line-up of events in the run-up to Christmas, including the annual Snapped Up Christmas Market hosted by one of our incredible creative community members, Printhaus! Expect local businesses, workshops, and mulled wine to keep you warm throughout the day.

In our theatre, Krystal S. Lowe presents their latest performance, Swyn. This magical winter warmer that combines Welsh and British Sign Language will spark young audiences’ imaginations through story and dance. Award-winning Dyad Productions bring their magic to Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol.

Our curated season of movement and dance, Reciprocal Gestures, comes to an end with final performances and talks from Performance Artist in Residence Anushiye Yarnell for two new iterations of the ongoing series, Marathon of Intimacies.

If you haven’t already, visit Artes Mundi’s tenth instalment in our Gallery, Lightbox, and Art in the Bar, presenting works from Carolina Caycedo, Naomi Rincón Gallardo, and Nguyễn Trinh Thi.

Last but certainly not least, we’re bringing back your favourite Christmas classics in our cinemas, including The Muppet Christmas Carol, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Carol. Expect choccy-magic in the latest Wonka starring Timothée Chalamet, and we welcome back some of the best flicks from London Film Festival 2023.
