What a thrilling fortnight of films we have lined up! Starting soon is the incredible Doc N Roll film festival sharing documentaries from an array of musical icons and innovators, from Swansea’s Trampolene to the iconic TLC, check out the full lineup here.

Continuing with our Powell + Pressburger Season, we’re delighted to invite writer, bookseller, organiser and film curator So Mayer for an introduction for Black Narcissus, highlighting the queer sexuality that was pervasive throughout their work. Also Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige brings obsession, secrecy and sacrifice to the fore in this psychological thriller.

Our regular service of the best in independent and mainstream film brings Bottoms, a queer comedy bringing fight club to high school; The Pigeon Tunnel, sharing the story of Spy David Cornwell aka John le Carre; Dance First, which dives into the literary giant, Samuel Beckett, and so much more, including a highlight from London Film Festival, Molly Manning Walker’s tackle on consent and coercion in a Malia holiday: How to Have Sex.

As part of St Fagans 75, we’re celebrating with a screening of Chapter Tenant John Meirion Rea’s Atgyfodi, with an in conversation afterwards with Jon Gower. We’re super excited for the opportunity to share the work of our tenants!

Then NT Live is back! Skylight, starring Bill Nighy shares the tale from a bitter cold evening. Warm up with it in our Cinema for one night only.
