Reciprocal Gestures: movement in dialogue is a two-day programme of expanded dance and movement at Chapter, gathering artists and communities to explore the sustaining and transformative potential of movement-based practices.
Founded by Mike Pearson, Good News from the Future is a physical theatre ensemble for older people, which has been meeting regularly and performing occasionally for over a decade.
Developed through improvisation, this latest manifestation of our work is a playful pop-up piece, intended to show that, whilst some of us may now be in our seventies, we can still count to thirteen and shake a leg.
This performance takes place at 1pm and 3pm in our community garden, in front of the building.
